Designology ("Designology," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through designology.ca (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. This policy applies to visitors, prospective clients, and clients who interact with our Site, contact forms, or booking tools.

Designology is a hospitality interior design studio based in Ontario, Canada.

Information you provide directly, such as when you submit our contact form or book a consultation:

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers or government ID numbers) through this Site.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and discovery call requests

  • Evaluate and discuss potential design projects

  • Send project-related communications

  • Send marketing or newsletter content, only where you've consented (see Section 4)

Email Marketing & CASL Compliance

If you subscribe to our newsletter (including Designology Dispatch) or otherwise consent to receive marketing communications, we will send commercial electronic messages in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email will include a clear way to unsubscribe, and we will honour opt-out requests promptly. Submitting our project inquiry form does not automatically enroll you in marketing emails unless you separately opt in.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our Site, hosted on Wix, may use cookies and similar technologies to operate core features and understand site usage. This may include:

  • Essential cookies required for the Site to function

  • Analytics tools via Wix, Google, LinkedIn, Canva, Apollo ...

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect Site functionality.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business, including:

  • Wix — website hosting and infrastructure

  • CRM Provider - relationship manager

  • Email service provider — for sending project communications and newsletters

  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) where necessary

These providers only access the information needed to perform their services and are expected to safeguard it appropriately.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Designology or others.

Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the personal information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Information may be stored on servers located outside of Canada (for example, if a third-party service provider operates internationally). By using this Site, you acknowledge this possibility.
